Islamabad - Islamabad police have arrested 10 outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered 50 bottles of wine and heroine from their possession, a police spokesman said yesterday.

According to details, Aabpara police arrested bootlegger Sahfique and recovered 50 bottles of wine from him.

Khanna police arrested an Afghan national Hameed Ullah over illegal stay in Pakistan. Sabazi Mandi police arrested three drug pushers Muhammad Irfan, Aman-Ullah and Talat and recovered 327 grams heroine from their possession.

Five professional alms-seekers were also arrested.

Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is under way. 

The SSP Islamabad has appreciated this overall performance of the local police.
