ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has issued tenders of Rs102 million for renovating and repairing 21 schools in rural areas and model schools and colleges of urban Islamabad, under the Prime Minister’s special package.

According to sources, over Rs14 million have been allocated for decoration of 21 schools, over Rs32.4 million for purchase of new furniture, over Rs4.4 million for installation of bio metric system in model schools and colleges, over Rs 24 million for installation of CCTV cameras and security and over Rs26 million for up gradation of IT laboratories and computer system in model colleges and schools under tenders issued by the CDA directorate of works and engineering department.
