The most shocking aspect of our Pakistani society is that more or less all practical and ethical virtues and values are vanishing from the society . Relevant religious, social, moral, academic, educational, literary and other institutions are doing nothing to restore social standards of morality such as kindness, uprightness, decorum, wisdom, and faithfulness.
Visit any public place, private or public sector organization, especially, our educational institutions such as the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC), Pakistan Nursing Council, Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE), Islamabad Electric Supply Company Ltd. (IESCO), among others, one will find that social standards of morality have vanished away from there.
Reverence for human beings was one of the key concepts of this approach to a moral life. Individuals were exhorted to carefully observe their duties toward the State and its citizens but now it is not the case and none bothers to restore and promote practical and ethical values and norms in our Pakistan society.
