LAHORE - A launching ceremony of designer brand 'Monaaz for dresses and jewellery was held at Pakistan Post Mall. The ceremony was inaugurated by Ghulam Punjtan Rizvi, Vice Chairman, Pakistan Post Foundation). The Monaaz is a joint venture of Pakistan Post Foundation & MS Munaza Rahim. The purpose of the JV is to provide a work opportunity to the most deprived class of the society along with the self sustaining revenue. The idea is to create working opportunity for widows and orphans especially for women so to enable them to live in the society with pride. It is pertinent to mention here that the major portion of the revenue goes to Pakistan Post Foundation, an organization designed to support the low cadre ex-employees of the organization, their widows and orphans. The exhibition is continued till 13th March 2011. Different dignitaries will be requested to visit as guest of honours.
