PML-N not to move no-trust motion against PM

ISLAMABAD (INP)- Punjab Government spokesman Senator Pervez Rasheed has said that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) will not bring no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani in the National Assembly. Talking to INP here on Sunday, Pervez Rasheed said no proposal to dissolve the Punjab Assembly was under consideration. He said summary for the removal of PPP ministers from the provincial cabinet had already been sent to the governor. He said if the summary is rejected, the PML-N would then decide its future course of action. He said it was premature to say anything. Meanwhile, Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah has said that Governor Latif Khosa is bound constitutionally to sign the summary about dissolution of the Punjab cabinet. Talking to media persons here Sunday, the provincial law minister said that if Khosa does not sign the summary, he can send it back with objection. He said any reply from the Punjab governor on Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharifs summary about cabinet dissolution is still awaited. The PML-N leader said that PPP ministers became dysfunctional after the summary was signed by the chief minister. He said the chief minister allots departments to different ministers, but these departments no longer exist now. The minister was of the view that it will be non-beneficial for the PPP to return the summary without signature. To a question, Sana said it is chief ministers discretion to offer ministries to unification bloc. He said the unification bloc has majority in the PML-Q parliamentary party, therefore, view of the majority should be respected. He said the unification bloc deserves to get ministries for supporting the PML-N.
