LAHORE – The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Zarai Taraqyati Bank Limited (ZTBL) are organising the 2nd edition of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Women Cricket Challenge Trophy T20 here from March 4 to 7.

The opening match will be played between Punjab and Sindh teams on March 4. In all, six teams will participate in the event, which are divided into two pools. The top team of each pool will qualify for the final which will be played on March 7 at the Gaddafi Stadium. For the first three days, two matches a day have been scheduled. All the matches will be televised live while entry for families and female spectators is free.

Group A comprises Punjab, Sindh and Balochistan while ZTBL, Federal Capital and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are in group B. ZTBL will defend their title in the second edition of the event.

The teams are:

Balochistan: Nahida Bibi (capt), Sukhan Faiz, Sabahat Rasheed, Maham Rafique, Ramin Shamim, Shamaila Qureishi, Madiha Rajput, Rida Hussain, Hafza Amjad, Saima Maqsood, Anum Amin, Farah Naeem, Asha Khan and Kalsoom Hanif.

Federal Capital: Mariam Hassan Shah (capt), Madiha Rasheed, Fareeha Mahmood, Areeb Shumaim, Huma Shafiq, Ayesha Furqan, Alia Riaz, Noreena Khalil, Fazila Ikhlaq, Naila Nazir, Hina Shafiq, Diana Baig, Sadia Khaliq and Hina Azam.

Kyhber Pakhtunkhwa: Salma Faiz (capt), Zainab Khan, Reema Khan, Badrunissa Shaukat, Omaima Sohail, Mehwish Tariq, Mahlaqa Mansoor, Shakeela Naz, Mariam Bukhari, Saba Khursheed, Faiza Khalid, Uzma Younis, Sidra Jan and Maria Gulnaz.

Sindh: Summaiya Siddiqui (capt), Sana Taj, Ayesha Zafar, Muneeba Ali, Sana Urooj, Ayesha Amjad, Noureen Afsar, Aimen Anwar, Arman Khan, Sajda Shah, Javeria Rauf, Areeba Hanif, Kainat Imtiaz and Masooma Junaid.

Punjab: Marina Iqbal (capt), Aisha Qazi, Komal Feroze, Sidra Amin, Iqra Nawaz, Erum Javed, Waheeda Akkhtar, Sidra Nawaz, Bakhtawar Iqbal, Sana Gulzar, Elizebath Barkat, Mariam Shafiq, Namra Imran and Kanwal Francis.
