Nazria Pakistan Forum (NPF) District President Prof Muhammad Akram Chishti has stressed the need for promotion of two-nation theory among the new generation for keeping it alive for integrity and solidarity of the country.

Addressing a meeting of the forum, he said that Pakistan came into being on the basis of Nazria Pakistan (two-nation theory) and sacrifices of millions of people of the subcontinent under the dynamic leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah (RA) and dreams of Allama Muhammad Iqbal. He called upon his audience to keep the new generation particularly the students abreast of the two-nation theory for national cohesion. He further said that ideological and geographical frontiers of the country could only be safeguarded if we follow this ideology in letter and spirit.

ANTI-POLIO VACCINATION STRESSED: DCO Mansoor Qadir has stressed the need for concerted efforts on the part of parents, teachers and members of civil society to ensure anti-polio campaign a big success.

While reviewing the on-going anti-polio campaign launched by the Health Department Hafizabad, he appealed to the parents to cooperate with the anti-polio staff to ensure vaccination of children to save them from the cripple disease.

Health Department Focal person Dr Touqeer Nawaz told the DCO that parents of 39 kids out of 44, who had refused to be vaccinated against polio, had been convinced and they had vaccinated their children against polio. Parents of five others are also being convinced not to be misled by negative propaganda regarding anti-polio campaign as there is no truth in the so-called propaganda by the vested interest.

The Focal person thanked the local administration particularly DPO for cooperation with the Health Department personnel for ensuring hundred percent vaccination of kids below five years.
