LAHORE - A special sitting is going to be held tomorrow (March 1) to mark 52nd death anniversary of founder of daily Nawa-i-Waqt and Pakistan Movement veteran Hameed Nizami at the Aiwan-i-Karkunaan-i-Tehreek-i-Pakistan, under the aegis of Hamid Nizami Memorial Society.

The sitting will be presided over by the Pakistan Movement veteran and Hameed Nizami Memorial Society President Col (r) Amjad Hussain Syed.

The guests of honour will include Chairman Senate Syed Nayyar Hussain Bukhari, Punjab Governor Ch Sarwar and Kashmir Affairs Federal Minister Ch Birjees Tahir whereas the speakers will include CPNE President Mujeeb-ur-Rehman Shami, Pakistan Movement Workers Trust Chairman Col (r) Jamshed Ahmad Tareen, Former Vice Chancellor Punjab University Dr Rafique Ahrnad.

Senior columnist Abdul Qadir Hassan, Begurn Bushra Rehman, Jamil Athar and others will also attend the ceremony. Nawa-i-Waqt Group Editor-in-Chief Dr Majid Nizami will present his thanksgiving address at the event being organised in collaboration with Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust.
