ISLAMABAD – Pakistani skier M Karim returned home late Thursday night after participation in Winter Olympics-2014 Sochi, Russia. Karim, who hails from Naltar, Gilgit-Baltistan, was the only Pakistani who participated in giant Slalom event. Karim earned 70th position in the mega event and brought smiles on the faces of Pakistani nation by performing better than the Indian skier. Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt, Chief of the Air Staff Pakistan Air Force, who is also patron of the Ski Federation of Pakistan (SFP), expressed his satisfaction over Karim's performance. In his special message to Karim, Air Chief congratulated him and added that the SFP would continue to send players to take part in international meets and also send them players for training purposes.–Staff Reporter
