ISLAMABAD – The POF Open Shooting Competitions 2014 started here at Wah Industries Ltd at POF shooting gallery on Thursday. More than one hundred shooters including Army, PAF, Punjab, KPK, Federal Club and POF are participating in the event. These competitions are being held under international shooting organisation ISSU rules. Lt Gen M Ahsan Mahmood HI (M) Chairman POF Board was the chief guest at the opening ceremony and inaugurated the event.  He remarked that POF shooting gallery would be upgraded so that national level shooting competitions could be held. “The main object of holding this event was to create awareness among the masses to protect wild life and it will also provide opportunities to the shooters to showcase their skills. These competitions will continue till March 2.”–Staff Reporter
