Three dacoits including two women took away Rs600,000, 25 tolas of gold ornaments and other valuables from a house in Noorpur City in broad daylight here the other day.
According to details, around 1pm in the afternoon, two unknown women entered the house of Khawaja Mohsin, a resident of Noorpur City. When the women observed that there was only woman in the house they called their third accomplice. They started demanding cash and jewellery from the woman at gunpoint. When she refused the accused threatened to kill her and took away keys of the lockers. The dacoits collected cash amounting to Rs600,000, gold ornaments weighing 25 tolas and other valuables worth hundreds of thousands of rupees and flew away. The police have registered a case and as usual started investigation.
Dacoits snatch bikes: Unidentified armed dacoits snatched two motorcycle, two cellphones and cash in two separate hits here the other day.
First incident took place on Jhaal Road in the limits of City Police, where one Muhammad Afzal was his way home on his motorcycle. When he reached near Hazzori Park Jhaal Road after two dacoits intercepted him and snatched his bike, cellphone and cash.
Similarly, Muhammad Nadeem was going Malgadha Chowk and when he reached near Chak 60/5-L, in the limits of the Yousafwala Police, two armed dacoits stopped him at gunpoint and snatched his bike.
