Sardar Abdul Raziq elected LHCBA president

RAWALPINDI-Renowned lawyer Sardar Abdul Raziq Khan clinched the slot of president by defeating Mrs Sarkar Abbas in the Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA) elections held here on Saturday. Advocate Sardar Abdul Raziq Khan was elected president of the LHCBA for the year 2021-22. Sardar Abdul Raziq bagged 570 votes and Mrs Sarkar Abbas got 380 votes. Mrs Shahida Chaudhry Advocate had earlier been elected unopposed for the slot of Senior Vice President of LHCBA. Sardar Tariq Khan was elected as Vice President for Attock Seat in the polls. Similarly, Shahid Shahzad Bhatti Advocate won the slot of secretary of bar by obtaining 508 votes, whereas, his opponent Haseeb Shakoor Paracha could only get 438 votes. The slot for Additional Secretary LHCBA was won by Rohma Qureshi Advocate by bagging 500 votes and her opponent Hina Nauman Advocate faced defeat while getting 332 votes. Arshad Rizwan Janjua has been elected as Joint Secretary of LHCBA while defeating his opponent Qazi Azhar Mehmood Advocate.
