LAHORE - A consumer court on Thursday ordered a private shopkeeper to pay Rs 5,000 as fine along with the original price of the product, worth Rs 7,700, to the complainant for selling old and used clothes (a dress). Shabnam Chaudhary, a resident of Defence Area, had purchased a readymade suit to wear on wedding ceremony from the respondent Nalaya Design against the price of Rs 7700.
