LAHORE - Responsibilities of police are very sacred and police officers should perform their duties judiciously and diligently by keeping themselves above from the all sorts of fear, influence and greed. Addressing the passing out parade of the 4th batch of 353 lady recruits and 41st lower class course of 502 male recruits at Police Training School, Chung here on Thursday, Inspector General of Police Punjab Javed Iqbal advised the new recruits to improve the image of the police department by exhibiting their best professional capabilities for ensuring quick relief to the people and elimination of crimes in the province. He stressed upon the passed out lady trainees to focus on their professional duties in all sections of the police department and prove their capabilities that they do not lag behind their male colleagues. Later, IGP distributed cash prizes, certificates and shields among the position holders. Iqbal also inaugurated the women campus for specialised skills at PTS Chung.
