The ANP Supremo Asfandyar Wali has declared that he has fulfilled the mission of late Wali Khan by naming his province as Khyber Pukhtunkhwa while saying in the same breath that Kalabagh dam was no longer an issue. It appears ANP has become the sole decision maker about the destiny of Pakistan and their Province. It is a common knowledge that Kalabagh dam is lifeline for Pakistan including former N.W.F.P. as the Water Accord of 1991 fixed a share of 14 percent of water for former N.W.F.P, which can only be assured from Kalabagh dam. There is blissful silence from the voiceless Punjab Province over the shelving of dam by the declaration of ANP leader even-though Punjab is voice of majority population of Pakistan. The studious silence of PML (N) is intriguing, which is a sad reflection on their part. DR MUHAMMAD YAQOOB BHATTI
