KARACHI  - The Sindh Rangers on Saturday claimed to have arrested 12 suspects, including a worker of MQM-Haqiqi and member of Lyari Gang War. According to Rangers spokesperson, the paramilitary force apprehended Asad Qaiser aka Bala during a raid in Landhi area. The suspect belongs to Muhajir Qaumi Movement–Haqiqi (MQM-H) and is involved in various cases of street crime and robberies.  

In another raid conducted by the Rangers, Kamran Ali aka Kami was arrested from Chakiwara area of Lyari. The spokesperson said the suspect belonged to a group of Lyari Gang War and was involved in extortion and other cases. The Rangers carried out raids in Gizri, Baghdadi and Chakiwara areas and arrested suspects Aftab Ahmed, Sharjeel Ahmed, Syed Wajahat, Gul Zaman, Sheeraz, Yasir Shah alias Faisal, Wali Muhammad and Sultan.  The spokesperson said the suspects were involved in various cases, including target killings, street crime, drug peddling and others.  

Meanwhile, the Rangers, during snap checking in Bilal Colony and Korangi areas, arrested two suspects Muhammad Taimoor and Hakim Ali. They were involved in various criminal cases. The spokesperson said that weapons, booty and narcotics were recovered from the suspects. They were handed over to police for further legal proceeding.
