RAWALPINDI - An anti-terrorism court (ATC) here on Monday sent former MNA Shah Abdul Aziz to Adiala Jail for 14 days on judicial remand for his alleged involvement in the abduction and murder of Polish engineer Piotr Stanczak. The former MNA Shah Abdul Aziz and another accused Attaullah were sent to Adiala Jail after police sought more time to complete the charge sheet against them. The court directed the police to produce the suspects in the court on August 10 for further proceeding. Meanwhile, Federal police obtained five days physical remand of three suspected terrorists for their alleged role in Marriott Hotel blast. The accused included Saleem Iqbal alias Qari Idrees, Talagang, Zahid Iqbal alias Anwar Kamal, Toba Tek Singh, and Zafar Ahmed, Risalpur. Law enforcing agencies arrested the suspects on Sunday last from Bharakahu area, Islamabad, for their alleged involvement in Marriott Hotel blast last year. The accused are believed to be members of Qari Saifullah Group.
