ISLAMABAD (APP) - The Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture here Monday organised a puppet show that enthralled the children at National Art Gallery. The puppet show at PNCA hall is a regular feature of the council presented by National Puppet Theatre while it is also organised regularly on Friday at Liaquat Memorial Hall, Rawalpindi. Besides entertainment, these puppet shows educate children about socio-cultural issues through different stories, an official of PNCA told this news agency. With the movement of puppets, the show depicts folk tales and skits to provide entertainment and education about social problems including health, education and environment etc. The most popular segment of the show 'Jeevay Pakistan was the major source of attraction for children while the puppets in colourful costumes also made performances with regional dances and traditional manners.A large number of students from various educational institutions attended the show.
