Despite cultural, linguistic and territorial difference between Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) and Federally Administrated Tribal Area (FATA) the posts advertised under the auspices of FPSC and other government institutions are mingled. FATA has MNAs, Federal Ministers and Senators while GB has no access in National Assembly and Senate. Consequently the students/candidates of FATA are given priority over GB students on aforesaid disciplines. GB candidates are either deprived or sometimes given mediocre positions. It is beyond imagination that GB sometimes is affiliated with Kashmir terming it part of Kashmir and a disputed territory; on the other hand in some matters it is integrated with FATA. But the fact is that GB remained neither part of Kashmir nor any link with FATA. The Federal Government must take serious notice and disintegrate GB and FATA seats.
