Our Staff reporter SIALKOT - the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) is launched a vigorous operation to eliminate the menace of human trafficking from Gujranwala Region. The agency has tightened nose around the human traffickers, their agents and sub agents and unearthed networks of several notorious human traffickers. FIA Gujranwala Region Deputy Director Gul Sanobar Khan stated this while talking to the newsmen here on Wednesday. He said that the FIA has arrested as many as three accused money changers from Sialkot city for doing illegal business of money changing, besides, interrogating several local travel agents in the city. He said that the FIA has also arrested a gang of the accused from Sialkot for preparing forge postage stamps and selling them to the people. He said that the FIA has also recovered hundreds of fake academic degrees of the doctors and engineers from Gujrat during a crackdown, besides, smashing a gang of accused involved in getting immigration on fake documents as the FIA also recovered a big quantity of stamps of the higher officials immigration department and other relevant government institutions. Gul Sanobar added that the FIA has arrested several notorious proclaimed offenders (POs), the human traffickers wanted by the FIA in its Red Book in several cases of sending the innocent people abroad illegally by extorting big amounts from them.
