KARACHI Silkbank has recently signed a contract for EMV Visa Credit Card issuance system with InfoTel Pakistan which is the technology partner of Thales e-Security Solutions. EMV is a joint effort between Europay, MasterCard and Visa to ensure security and global availability of Visa and MasterCard services. It is imperative for a bank to provide its customers with convenience of banking. At the same time it is also important to provide customers with secure and accessible transactions, said Mr. Azmat Tarin, President Silkbank.
