MULTAN - The Chamber of Small Traders on Tuesday demanded of the Commissioner Multan to launch inquiry into poor construction of Masoom Shah Road and take strict action against those responsible. Talking to the journalists here, the president of the chamber Khalid Mahmood Qureshi said that the road was recently constructed under Prime Minister Package but it started deteriorating soon after its construction. He said that the road had turned into a zigzag track as a result of which many accidents were taking place daily. He warned that the sewerage line could collapse at any time and the road would become a death trap in case of crown failure. He said that millions of rupees were misappropriated in this project and it needed inquiry. BZU ISSUES SCHEDULE: The Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan has declared the schedule for submission of forms as well as date for commencement of BSc. Meteorology and Materials Engineering First Annual Examination 2010 here on Tuesday. A notification issued by the examination department of BZU read that the examination would start on August 15. The last date for depositing form for admission to the examination with normal fee will be August 2 while candidates can submit their forms with double fee till August 8.
