At least six persons were killed and four other injured in separate incidents of violence, enmity and mishaps over the past 24 hours.

According to details, three persons were killed and another sustained injures in a collision between two speeding motorbikes here on Defence Road in remit of Mandi Ahmadabad (Okara) Police here the other day. The accident occurred when Riaz Ahmad, a resident of Kanganpur was returning home from Basirpur on a motorbike while two brothers Farid and Iftikhar, resident of Shadey Wal were coming from the opposite direction near Mandi Ahmmadabad.

Resultantly, Iftikhar was killed on the spot while other sustained injuries and were rushed to Rural Health Centre Basirpur where doctors pronounced Riaz Ahmed and Iftikhar as dead. While Farid was referred to General Hospital Lahore due to his critical condition. According to reports, his condition is stated to be critical.

In OKARA, a youth committed suicide over some domestic dispute. Reportedly, Ahmad Mehmood alias Amin, son of Yaqoob Kharel, a resident of 25/2R, in sheer disappointment over family issues, committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling fan with a rope. The police have started probe into the incident. Similarly in SARGODHA, a youth namely Ali Raza was on his way to home on his motorbike. When he reached near Ludaywala village, a speeding car coming from the opposite direction hit him. Resultantly Ali Raza succumbed to critical injuries instantly. In another incident, 12-year-old Waseem was hit by a speeding motorcycle rickshaw when he was crossing road near village 71/NB. The police have registered separate cases.
