KARACHI - Different incidents of violence claimed four more lives in the metropolis on Saturday.

A youth namely Imran was shot dead in Baldia Town within Mochko police remits. Police officials said that two armed men riding a motorcycle came to the victim’s home. When he came outside the home, the accused shot him dead and managed to flee from the scene. Police shifted the body to Civil Hospital Karachi for autopsy.

In the remits of PIB police, a man identified as Tahir Baloch was shot dead near his house in Old Sabzi Mandi. The deceased was used to run a pan shop in Malir locality and had recently shifted to PIB Colony. The motive behind the incident has yet to be ascertained.

Separately, a youth was shot dead near Dhobi Ghat within the limits of Garden Police Station. As per the initial investigation, some unidentified persons brought the victim to the said place, shot him multiple times and managed to flee. The body was shifted to CHK for postmortem and later moved to morgue for identification. The motive behind the incident has yet to be ascertained.

Meanwhile, a youth, whose identity could not be ascertained, was found dead near Mirza Adam Khan Road within the limits of Chakiwara Police Station. Some unidentified persons, after kidnapping the victim, shot him dead and escaped from the spot. His body was moved to Edhi morgue for identification.
