SIALKOT

Jamaat-ud-Dawa Ameer Hafiz Muhammad Saeed has urged the government to lodge a strong protest at foreign level against India over her water aggression against Pakistan.

Addressing a meeting at Sialkot, he said that the time was ripe for Pakistan to take the water issue to the international forums. He strongly condemned the Indian water aggression and said that India was conspiring to make Pakistan a barren land by stopping water in River Chenab towards Pakistan. He added that India actually wanted to ruin Pakistan economically. He said that India has also started construction of a big dam, much bigger than Baglihar Dam, on River Chenab to preserve all the water of the River Chenab.

He said that the step should also be an eye opener for Pakistan government and international community. He asked the government to put up the water scarcity issue caused by f India at every international forum. He also asked the world community to use its complete influence to globally pressure India over its water aggression. Talking to the media, Hafiz Saeed said that America has met with a great and historic defeat in Afghanistan due to which the US was taking its revenge by targeting Pakistan’s tribal areas with drone attacks, killing dozens of innocent Pakistanis.

He asked the PML-N government to take a bold stance against the US drone attacks, saying that Pakistan should take up the issue of the drone attacks before the international community for seeking justice in this regard.

He said that the US should accept its horrible defeat in Afghanistan and should stop taking revenge of its defeat in shape of drone attacks on Pakistani tribal areas. Pakistan should never ask India to give her electricity and the Pakistani government should adopt all the resources of alternative energy instead of seeking electricity from India, he demanded. He termed the closure of water by India towards Pakistani rivers a very crucial issue. He also called for waging Jihad against India for teaching her a lesson. Undoubtedly, he said, the water closure by India was a burning issue of the day as it had a matter of integrity for Pakistan.
