ABU DHABI - UAE-based RAK Airways has announced Islamabad and Amman will be its first two destination launches in 2013. Flights to Islamabad will start on August 5 with services to Amman following two days later. The launch announcements follow comments made last month by president of RAK Airways, that the airline would announce five new destinations in the near future. RAK Airways saw passenger numbers total 300,000 in 2012 and in the first quarter of 2013, the numbers have jumped 40pc.
