RAWALPINDI - Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Saturday granted police three-day physical remand of Imtiaz Ali alias Taji Khokhar in Sabira Bibi murder case.
The court ordered police to produce the accused again on July 30, 2013 for further proceeding of the murder case.
According to details, Station House Officer (SHO) Police Station Airport Syed Azhar Shah presented the handcuffed Taji Khokhar before the trial court amid tight security and sought five-day physical custody of the accused. However, the court discarded the police request and granted only three-day physical remand of Khokhar.
Imtiaz Ali alias Taji Khokhar, brother of former Deputy Speaker National Assembly Haji Nawaz Khokhar, has been arrested in connection with murder of a lady over land dispute.
