LAHORE – The Punjab Cycling Association (PCA) will hold a talent hunt kilometer cycle race here today (Sunday) as a part 10 of is development plan to enlarge the base of the game. “The race aim to identifying new talent to take up cycling as a sport and efforts will be made for arranging similar events in due course of time to broaden the base of the game,” said PCA secretary Farrukh Wazir here on Saturday. He said PCA president Moazzam Khan had given special instructions for holding this event. “The race will start from DPS School Model Town in the morning and will end at the same point. There will be cash prizes for the first three position holders. The interested riders can register their names to former international cyclist Shakeel Ahmad before the start of the race. –Stafff Reporter
