ISLAMABAD: Three officers of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) were suspended Saturday allegedly for concealing the facts from the CDA authorities for permitting commercial activity in F-7 Markaz.
Among those whose services have been suspended included Deputy Director General (awaiting for posting) Ghulam Murtaza Malik, Deputy Director Housing Societies Zafar Iqbal Zafar and Deputy Director Architecture Ali Abdullah.
According to a CDA officer, the officers had misguided the CDA Board recommending that the commercial activity may be allowed in one floor of the building located on Plot No 19 of F-7 Sector. The officers have been suspended under the CDA Employees Regulation 1992, said the office orders issued by the Human Resource Development Directorate of the CDA.–APP
However, on the other hand, the aggrieved officers were of the view that the CDA Board had allowed commercial activity in the ground floor of the building, besides the construction of an additional floor.–APP
