Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult face new rumours that their relationship is over.
The couple met on the set of X Men: First Class in 2011 but broke up in January 2013. They reunited while shooting follow up film X Men: Days of Future Past but it now seems they could be on yet another break following Nicholas’ outing with Riley in New York this week.
‘They were sitting arm-in-arm in a booth with Adam Lambert and Charl Brown,’ an eyewitness told Page Six. The 24-year-old reportedly romanced Elvis Presley’s granddaughter during his split from the American Hustle actress. And during the latest outing, another source told the outlet that the Warm Bodies actor and Riley ‘looked cozy’ though Nicholas was also chatting with ‘a bunch of other girls.’
Nicholas and the 25-year-old worked together on Mad Max: Fury Road. Despite the outlet reporting that the couple was having problems, in May, Jennifer shed some light on how she maintains her relationship with her beau. ‘When we’re busy, we agree to mutually ignore each other. Not completely, but neither of us gets mad when the other doesn’t text back or call. Life’s super-busy,’ she told Marie Claire. ‘Obviously you know what they’re doing, and you trust them. We’re so young that it would almost be like if we lived in the same city, what would happen? We’d be living together.’
The fact that the two stars are in the same industry seemed to make it easy for them to be together as they both knew where the other was coming from. ‘At least this way he’s in the same boat as I am: We can go out and have our own lives and know that we have each other,’ she added. Neither of the stars representatives has yet commented on the split rumours.
