Islamabad - Islamabad police have arrested five outlaws and three suspects from various areas of the city and recovered wine and valuables from them, a police spokesman said yesterday.

According to details, Kohsar police arrested bootlegger Asif Masih and recovered 20 litres of wine from him. Margalla police arrested an accused Kamran and recovered stolen valuables from him. Ramana police also arrested a thief identified as Iqbal while Yasir was held for decanting gas in cylinders illegally. Koral police arrested an accused Khuram Shahzad allegedly involved in a theft case. Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway. Meanwhile, Sabzi Mandi police apprehended three suspects during search a operation.
