LAHORE - The Lahore High Court yesterday ordered registrar office to consolidate all petitions seeking directions for National Accountability Bureau to hold inquiry against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s family members and other politicians for their alleged involvement in Panama leaks.

Justice Ayesha A Malik of the LHC took up the petitions and fixed September 12 as the next hearing. PTI leader Tahir Sindu, PAT’s Ishtiaq Chaudhary and others had filed the petitions and submitted that the family members of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and other politicians established offshore companies.

During the hearing, Judicial Activism Panel Chairman Advocate Azhar Siddique told the judge that NAB was not holding inquiry into panama leaks. He said family members of PM had established offshore companies and concealing their facts.  How they established these companies, the counsel raised the question.

He prayed the court to direct NAB to investigate the alleged corruption of the ruling family. The court, however, ordered registrar office to consolidate all petitions and fixed them before the court by Sept 12.
