Nizami for setting up NPT centres in other provinces

LAHORE - Chairman Nazria Pakistan Trust and Editor-in-Chief The Nation Majid Nizami has said that we have no other remarkable vision except Pakistan ideology and we want to transform this vision to the next generation. He was addressing the 4th meeting of NPT Board of Governors at Aiwan-e-Karkunan Tehrik-e-Pakistan on Saturday. He said the NPT would write to the chief ministers of other three provinces to establish the NPT offices there and provide necessary funds. He said if a person abuses the Quaid, he should have no right to live an honourable life. Majid Nizami said NPT was the only organisation which upheld the Pakistan ideology but he wanted to set up such centres at Quetta, Karachi and Peshawar. Prime Minister Gilani laid the foundation stone of Aiwan-e-Quiaid-e-Azam which was a great achievement, he said, adding the Aiwan-e-Nazria Pakistan foundation stone had also been laid and soon the prime minister and the Punjab chief minister would release the remaining amount for the said purpose. The NPT under its programme Aghi organised 246 ceremonies at 781 educational institutions through three mobile units of the NPT and 0.4 million students benefited from it. Students of 254 schools and colleges visited the Aiwan on a study tour while branches of NPT were set up in 18 districts He said so far we have given 1050 gold medals to the Pak movement workers. Majid Nizami said the NPT would introduce Madre Millat Award and prepare a documentary on her life. A fund of Rs 3 million would be allocated for loan to the skilled women and their products will be displayed at Madre Millat Centre. He said the Punjab CM had agreed to include Pakistan ideology in curriculum. He said we had to reorganise Baloch Sardars as they worked for the creation of Pakistan. Dr Javed Iqbal said the curriculum should be redesigned in the light of our ideology. He said the government should translate his book 'Ideology of Pakistan written in Ayubs era and act upon the proposals given in the book. Syed Mushahid Hussain said that the government should restore Madre Millat Award. The new generation should also be informed about this award. Chief Editor Balochistan Times Syed Fasih Iqbal said the NPT was now a national secretariat. He said allocation for Aiwan-e-Quaid-e-Azam was meager amount which should be increased. Begum Majida Wyne said that Majid Nizami was working with the same spirit with which Shaheed Ghulam Haider Wyne worked for Nazria Pakistan. Sen Naeem Hussain Chatha said that we should form a youth wing as youth was our focus of attention. Kh Habibullah Kukro said the NPT branch should be set up in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir as well. Begum Mehnaz Rafi said that exhibitions of skilled women products would be held at Madre Millat center. J A Zaman, Dr Nazir Qaiser, Col (r) Jamshed Tarin, NPT Chief Coordinator Mian Aziz-ul-Haq Qureshi also addressed. NPT Secretary Shahid Rashid presented performance report.
