ISLAMABAD - The inquiry report to probe into the death incident of a female patient due to erroneous blood transfusing by doctors of the Federal Government Services Hospital few days back has been delayed and would be presented before the Health Ministry tomorrow (Monday). The administration of FGSH is trying hard to reconcile with the aggrieved party before completing the report. The report was due to be completed by Saturday and it seems as they were saving the skin of the accused, Sources in the hospital told TheNation on condition of anonymity. The fact is evident from the delay of the in-depth investigation report that was supposed to be completed within 72 hours but that could not be done and due to which the accused are still at large. A day earlier a delegation of hospital officials also met the relatives of the deceased and requested them to take back the FIR against the accused but the family refused to do so and remained committed to pursue the case until the responsible are punished, sources added. It is pertinent to mention here that the FIR, which was lodged in the Aabpara Police Station under section 319 (omitted murder) against Dr Javaid and Dr Muhmmad Bilal, is unwarrantable whereas despite passage of three days so far no arrest has been made in this regard. On the other hand, the relatives of the deceased are planning to meet Superintendent Police, Islamabad to take up the issue of not arresting any accused so far. When the hospital officials were contacted for their comments they said the report had been completed and after composing it would be submitted to Health Ministry tomorrow (Monday).
