RAWALPINDI- Supply and distribution of ration to IDPs of North Waziristan is gradually improving according to the press statement of ISPR.
According to ISPR, 21,543 packets of 110 kilogram of rations in each have been distributed among IDPs at six relief delivery points established by Pakistan Army in collaboration with civil administration at Bannu, D I Khan and Tank. 
After initial cash disbursement manually, the process of disbursement through mobile SIMs has been launched, for which SIMs are being distributed to families as well.
Eleven tons of fodder for cattles and other animals have also been distributed at Bannu, Tank and DI Khan. The whole nation is pledging ration, money and other relief goods, and is enthusiastically depositing their contributions at collection points established by the Army across the country.
Collection points have been increased up to 53 now across the country where up till now 131 tons of ration have been collected and dispatched to Bannu.
A field medical hospital established by Army medical Corps at Khalifa Gul Nawaz hospital Bannu is providing medical care to patients round the clock. Mobile medical teams are also being sent out to various areas where IDPs are residing.
Civilian population has been evacuated from North Waziristan, to make sure that there are no innocent civilians still left in the area. Announcements are being made for any stranded tribals who may have stayed back for any reasons, to leave also. There are reports that after the surrender of 19 terrorists so far, more terrorists may lay down arms.
