KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Coordination Committee Convener Nadeem Nusrat on Tuesday said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has once again given a proof of strong relation with the Taliban by providing Madrassa Haqqania with Rs 300 million grant.

In a statement issued by the MQM, he strongly criticised Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government for allocating Rs 300 million for Madrassa Haqqania in its budget for the fiscal year 2016-17.

Nusrat said that the tax money should be spent on the people but the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has once again given proof of its strong links with the Taliban by allocating Rs 300 million for Madrassa Haqqania.
