KARACHI - MQM Chief Altaf Hussain has strongly condemned the suicide bomb blast in a mosque in Jamrud Town of Khyber agency and expressed his deep sorrow over the loss of innocent lives in the incident. In his statement issued on Friday, Altaf said that the criminals involved in the killings of innocent people through suicide bombings were violating the teachings of Islam. He said that religious extremism and terrorism were tarnishing the image of Pakistan in the world and urged the government to adopt effective measures to deal with the perpetrators of such crimes. The MQM leader demanded President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani and Interior Advisor Rehman Malik to take stern notice of the suicide bomb blast in Khyber Agency and adopt concrete measures to prevent such bloody from happening in the future. He prayed for early recovery of the people injured in the Khyber Agency suicide blast.
