ISLAMABAD - Junior doctors of Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) called off their strike on Friday over the scuffle that took place between doctors and private security guards on car parking issue Thursday night. The hospital administration has agreed to address their grievances and constituted a committee to investigate the matter. Dr Abdul Majeed Rajput Executive Director PIMS has directed the committee to submit its report within 3 days. The committee is fully authorized to call any doctor or staff member and can also inquire about any other issue, which is highlighted during the proceedings of the inquiry committee. The inquiry committee is constituted of Professor Khaleeq Uz Zaman, Professor Imran Sikander and professor M.A. Zahid. As per details a scuffle took place between Dr Salahuddin Orthopaedic surgeon and private security guards. Dr Salahudin parked his car outside the emergency later private contractor car lifter staffs picked his car and parked it on other parking place. Dr Salahuddin went to the private security staff to get his car but he was asked to pay fine of Rs 100 and during the conversation both exchanged harsh words and started abusing.
