Qaim condemns blast at mosque

KARACHI (APP) - Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has expressed his profound grief and sorrow over the suicide bombing in a Jamrud mosque at Friday prayer resulting in the death of innocent people. He said that terrorism in the House of Allah is highly painful and disgusting. He prayed for eternal peace for departed souls, grant of patience to bereaved families and early recovery of injured. Sindh Information Minister Shazia Marri also vehemently condemned the suicide bombing and described it a nefarious act. In a statement she said tghat no Muslim can be involved in this beastly act and it is certainly an act of anti-social and anti-state elements whose only objective is to create chaos in the country. She said the democratic government is taking steps for stability, progress and prosperity in the country which is not liked by these disgruntled elements and, therefore, they are playing with innocent people. She said targetting prayer offering people in a mosque cannot be the act of any person having a conscious and such people are a blot on humanity gho would be brought before justice.
