QUETTA - The lawmakers passed a resolution unanimously in the session of the Balochistan Assembly seeking Nasirabad district to be declared as B-Area.

Speaker Mir Jan Muhammad Khan Jamali presided over the Assembly session, held here on Thursday.

MPAs including Haji Muhammad Khan Lehri, Mir Aamir Rind, Mir Asim Kurd and Kishore Bibi moved a joint resolution that reads that the Levies Force was merged in police force after the district Nasirabad was declared A-Area that created unrest among personnel of Levies Force deployed in the district.

The resolution demanded of the provincial government to declare district Nasirabad as B-Area once again.

The chair put the resolution for voting which was passed unanimously.

Later, after completion of remaining proceedings, the House was adjourned till March 29th.

Meanwhile, Balochistan Chief Minister, Dr Abdul Malik Baloch told the Provincial Assembly that the incumbent government was spending 80 per cent of the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) on ongoing schemes launched by previous regime.

During the session, the Opposition members observed walkout from the House stating that the provincial government was not releasing the development of funds of the Opposition MPAs.

Earlier, speaking on a point of order, Awami National Party, MPA, Eng. Zamarak Piralizai alleged that the incumbent government was not releasing development funds of the members.

Responding to him, the Chief Minister Baloch said, " About 80 per cent of total Public Sector Development Programme funds are being spent on ongoing schemes introduced and launched by the previous government," adding, that the Opposition should produce evidences in support of its allegations. He said that he was accountable on the performance of his government during last nine months,adding, that he was not accountable on the performance of the previous regime.

He disclosed that the 2.5 million children were not enrolled in schools in the province.

He urged the Parliamentarians to visit schools and hospitals in their respective constituencies to check their condition.

He said that Deputy Commissioner Lasbela has been directed to conduct probe into the issue of constructing of a school in industrial town of Hub.

Adviser to the Chief Minister on Education, Sardar Raza Muhammad Baraich said that the inquiry would be conducted into the issue of NGO in Hub.

Later, the Speaker adjourned the session till March 29th.
