Gas suspension makes life miserable

SHEIKHUPURA - A large numbers of sui gas consumers belonging to different localities including Imamia Colony, Rachna Town, Ferozewala and Rana Town protested against the low pressure of Sui gas for the last four days.

The protesters were chanting slogans against the SNGPL authority for suspending the supply of gas without any justification.
Talking to the media, consumer Ibrahim said that there was no gas in houses for cooking. Lack of natural gas supply was so irritating for the masses that they have to search for food the whole day. “People are forced to buy Naan and Rotis from tandoors and owners of these shops also complained about the low pressure of gas”, he claimed.
The protesters demanded restored the gas supply as soon as possible. They warned if the supply of gas not restore, the traffic on GT Road and rail service would be suspended.
