LAHORE - A seven-day badminton coaching course, which was organized by the Pakistan Badminton Federation under the auspices of Pakistan Sports Trust, concluded here on Tuesday. Chief guest Secretary General PBF Amer Hayat Khan Rokhri gave away the certificates to the successful coaches. Addressing the occasion, he thanked the Pakistan Sports Trust to help organise the National Coaching Course conducted by Raziuddin Ahmad, international badminton coach, (UK). He said the PBF will take full advantage of the presence of Raziuddin in Pakistan. "We will arrange regional and national coaching camps for young players as well as national players," he added. In this course, 15 coaches participated from Punjab, Balochistan, NWFP. Names of the participants are: Nadim Ishaq Mir, Rafique Babar, Azhar Javeed, Liaqat Ali, Mohammad Akram, Ghazanfar Ali Shah, Tahseen Ullah, Aurangzeb Iqbal, Amjad Hussain Mala, Waseem Ahmed Butt, Razia Parveen, Masood Ahmed, Riaz Javeed, Muhammad Naeem. After the theoretical and practical test, Nadim Ishaq Mir took the first position, Rafique Babar was second and Azhar Javeed became third. Others also successfully passed. Syed Naqi Mohsin, President Pakistan Badminton Technical Association and Saeed Iqbal Khan, Secretary Sports Pakistan Railways were present at the occasion.
