A 14-year-old girl has been arrested on suspicion of having bludgeoned her mother to death with a hammer during an argument over the weekend, police in San Diego said. Rebecca D'Aoust, 56, died Monday due to cranial trauma, said police lieutenant Kevin Rooney in the southern California city. On Sunday, D'Aoust's husband and her 21 year-old daughter were awoken by screaming and found D'Aoust's body in the kitchen at their home in Scripps Ranch, a suburb of San Diego.
