Karachi (PPI) - Sindh Home Minister, Dr. Zulfiqar Mirza has put the police in province on high alert after the deadly bomb blast at Rescue-115 office in Lahore, on Wednesday. He strongly condemned the suicide attack and expressed deep concern over the loss of precious lives. Dr. Zulfiqar Mirza also directed police to further tighten the security and ensure safety of all sensitive places, including offices of police and other law enforcement agencies, police lines, markets public places and offices of government and private organisations. He further directed that foolproof security arrangements at all worship places including mosques, Imambargahs, churches, and temples be ensured and police personnel deployed at all sensitive places. He directed to the police officials that all suspected people should be arrested with immediate effect. He asked the police to enhance patrolling and check all suspected vehicles. He said strict checking at the entry points of the provinces should also be ensured. Mirza said in order to counter e terrorism and to maintain peace in Sindh province, the police forces should chalk out its strategy in collaboration with other law enforcement agencies.
