SARGODHA. Police recovered heavy quantity of narcotics and illegal arms while 12 accused including four proclaimed offenders involved in murder and robberies were also apprehended in 24 hours during the on going drive for the eradication of the anti-social elements. According to the police sources, on the strict direction from the District Police Officer Dr Muhammad Rizwan the police recovered two kg charas, 450 grams heroine, four pistols, one riffle 7mm and 51 bottles of wine. Meanwhile as a result of stern action against the drug pushers the narcotics became rare across the district and addicted persons are seeking medical treatment for their addiction rather than vainly searching for narcotics. The people from social and civic circles eulogized and appreciated the remarkable work done by the DPO Sargodha and expected that it would be continued.
