QUETTA - Four more people have registered themselves as witnesses in the tribunal probing the murder of five Chechens, in Kharotabad area of Quetta. A tribunal comprising Justice Muhammad Hashim Kakar of the Balochistan High Court (BHC) was formed on the directives of Chief Minister Balochistan Nawab Muhammad Aslam Khan Raisani to investigate the incident after local people and media claimed that all five foreign nationals were killed in a fake encounter. On Friday, four more people registered their names and requested their names should not be highlighted in the media. So far, 18 people mostly the residents of the Kharotabad area have registered themselves as witnesses in the tribunal. The tribunal will start investigation from Monday. Five foreigners, three of them women were killed on May 17, by police and FC personnel in Kharotabad area suspecting them of suicide bombers.
