ISLAMABAD - Babar Awan will appear as counsel on behalf of Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon, who is facing contempt of court by using contemptuous language towards judiciary after the apex courts judgement in the appointment case of Chairman NAB Deedar Hussain Shah. Taj Haider submitted that he had given his reply to the court. The Chief Justice observed that they had gone through his reply. A three-member bench of the apex court comprising Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, Justice Muhammad Sair Ali and Justice Ghulam Rabbani was hearing a contempt of court proceedings against General Secretary Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Sindh Taj Haider and newly appointed Information Minister Sindh Sharjeel Inam Memon for using contemptuous language towards judiciary during the strike call against Supreme Courts decision sacking Justice (Retd) Dedaar Hussain Shah from chairmanship of NAB.
