HANGU - The death toll of tragic car bomb blast in Hangu rose to 36 as four more persons died on the second day of the devastating blast on Friday. Rescue work on blast site is under way, the worker of the district administration and municipal administration are busy round the clock in removing the rubble of the damaged building. Most of the offices including office of communication and works department, police residencies and several shops were razed to ground in the attack. The blast has also damaged the premises of the district court building and six Photostat shops. According to District Coordination Officer, Adil Sadiq, the injured persons mostly include police and district levies, who are under treatment in various hospitals of the city. Emergency has already been declared in the district headquarter hospital of Hangu. Security also has been beefed up after the terror attack, heavy contingent of security forces have been deployed at various entrance point of the district. Divisional Inspector General of Police Kohat Maswood Afridi said that from the last several years Hangu remain the prime victims of terrorism due to its proximity with tribal area. He said that security in this part of the province is always remain tight but despite of this terrorist succeeding in their attacks.
