ISLAMABAD - Expressing its reservations, the PML-N Friday rejected list of nominees sent by the Prime Minister for constitution of Election Commission saying PCO judges included in the list are not acceptable. Talking to media men here on Friday in Parliament House, Opposition leader in National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar said reply to the nominations made by PM would be sent till Tuesday in consultation with the Opposition parties. 'But we will not accept any judge who is PCO-tainted or corrupt or has any political affiliations. We have strong reservations on the incumbent Chief Election Commissioner. Such a person be appointed Chief Election Commissioner who is capable to hold transparent elections, he added. PML-N wanted an independent Ehtesab Commission, he said ,adding, 'we will continue to block the way of a fake and so called Ehtesab Commission. Regarding Hillary Clintons visit to Pakistan, he said Pak-US ties stand poles apart and they will be normalised when misperceptions prevailing among the people are allayed. Hike and seek game between President Zardari and Americans should come to end as Musharraf pursued such policy, he stressed. Thick clouds of mystery have shrouded on the meetings between chiefs of CIA and ISI, he observed. Real facts should come to open, he underlined. The fog hovering over US-Pak relations can become clear only when truth will be made public, he added. 'I say with conviction that the matters between US and President Zardari are settled and they have nothing to do with reservations and concerns of people, he said. 'Resolution passed in Parliament is being attached with no importance, he underlined. No commission had been constituted so far on Abbottabad action, he said, adding, if PM did not give reply to his letter on formation of commission then all the details would be made public. Nisar said he had no intention to quit the post of Chairman Public Accounts Committee ,adding, government was scared of its accountability.
