ARIFWALA - The faulty electricity transformer installed here has been adding to the miseries of the people and they are living without light in the hot condition. The people of the area protested and block traffic on Bahwalnagar Road agains the injustice. As per detail, a Wapda transformer was out of order for many days and people of the area were without electric supply. When they contacted the local Wapda authority for the to installation a new transformer, the Wapda authorities demanded Rs20000 as gratification to install the transformer. The people protested against the Wapda authorities and blocked the Bahwalnagar Road. They were chanting slogans against the government and demanded installation of transformer. On the other hand the Wapda officials said that there was a fault in transformer whiel will be rectified.
